Bronze 1975

A square gold metal object with a black hole in it.

I produced this work at Bill Underhill’s Bronze Casting Studio in 1975 at Alfred University after studying Kepler’s Geometry. I discovered this while working with Kepler’s Gold, but found that it is closely related to the Pythagorean Theorem.

Exhibited at Small Works Show, 1983, 80 Washington Square East Galleries, Juried by Ivan C. Karp, O.K. Harris Gallery, New York, Carl Andre at the opening liked my work and we talked about it.
